Description

Gear Down and Go Big
What can you do with a monster 8”
GDP Portal Gear Lift with either a 45% or 60% gear reduction? Anything you
want. With room for up to 40” tires and the boosted torque to turn them, your
Polaris RZR XP Turbo S will push through deeper mud and climb over bigger
rocks. With GDP, the way forward is to drive straight through.

GDP—the Most Trusted Name in Portals
Why should you
choose GDP over others? Because the verdict has been delivered, and thousands
of riders choose GDP to carry their ride every weekend. In fact, more riders
roll on GDP Portals than any other portal system. You’re not taking a chance
on unproven technology, you’re choosing the most trusted name in portals.

Perfect for Mud
Bounty holes aren’t built
for stock machines, and they favor those that go big. With 8 inches of ground
clearance on top of whatever monster mud grips you get, you’ll be anything but
stock. With GDP, you won’t be neck deep, and that extra power to the ground®
will keep your tires turning and your machine moving forward.

A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
The
gear reduction on GDP portals comes at the very end of the drivetrain. Since
it’s right in the hub, that means your axles, differential, prop shaft, and
transmission all benefit from it. You get less stress on your components and
machine that lasts longer than stock.

size and gear reduction can unleash your machine’s potential.

Better Gear Material
We take Gear Driven Performance
seriously, that’s why we don’t skimp on gear material. They’re made from
precision-ground 9310 alloy steel that makes them quiet and smooth. These top-
of-the-line gears are built for the way you ride.

Stronger Housings by Design
You can choose from either
cast or our USA-made billet aluminum. No matter what you choose, you know
you’re getting the strongest designed portal housing on the planet. With tens
of thousands out getting beat on every week, you know these housings are trail
proven.

  • Our housings are reinforced in all the right places
  • They’re built with better oil flow and gearing forces in mind
  • There are no gimmicks and no vents because vents do more harm than good—we
    know because we tested them

The Strongest Portal
Backing Plates You Can Get

We use an advanced steel alloy for
our backing plates that’s unmatched in strength and durability. It’s stronger
than chromoly and at 5/16” thick, it’s strong enough to hold your suspension
together for the lifetime of your side-by-side.

Advanced
Gaskets and Seals

Whether you go with cast or billet, both
housings use:

  • Advanced gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a
lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
  • A sealed input gear and
    double-lipped output seal
  • 100% sealing coverage throughout so you can
    forget about oil leaks

Bearings That Rock

We know that even the smallest details are important. That’s why our
output bearings are the best you can get. They’re double-angular contact
bearings so they don’t break or wear prematurely when you’re hitting bumps and
riding hard. It’s one more way we make sure GDP is the best.

Universal Hubs and Slotted Rotors
Our precision-ground,
stainless steel slotted rotors stay cool to give you the braking power you
need when you need it. They come with 4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt
patterns and lugs so you can use almost any side-by-side wheel on these
portals. We made them that way to make your life easier. We invented the
tapered output shaft that our hubs attach to. It provides a more secure lock
that won’t wobble or wear over time.

Reinforce Your UTV
with a Frame Stiffener

We highly recommend running a SuperATV
Frame Stiffener with your 8″ Portal Gear Lift. Your stock RZR Turbo S frame is
tough, but it’s not tough enough to handle going this big. Get a frame
stiffener and get piece of mind that your machine will hold together when the
pedal’s down.
