Rugged R1 - Business Band Two Way Handheld Radio - Digital and Analog is a durable handheld radio created for work, race, or play with digital and analog features. It can operate in DMR Digital mode, enabling the use of the latest technology, and analog for communication with race radios on both VHF and UHF frequencies. The R1 comes with a wide range of accessories to enhance its range and battery life, or for pairing with Moto and Single Seat kits. It features an easy-to-use keypad and interface, as well as customizable P1 and P2 buttons with RT Systems software. The R1 also includes a powerful industrial business band, large LED display, text messaging functionality on digital channels, a performance-tuned antenna, USB charge-on-the-go cable, Rechargeable Li-ion battery, a 5-Watt transmitter, 2-Pin accessory compatibility, built-in safety flashlight, 1 Touch FM Radio, lockable controls, and a 1,024 Channel & 250 Zone Capacity. The package includes the handheld radio, the rechargeable battery, a USB charging cable and power adapter, a belt clip, and an antenna. Compatible with all VHF/UHF business band radios and DMR platform digital radios. A business license is required for use, and the R1 is FCC and CE certified.
