Rugged RDH16 - Business Band Two Way Handheld Radio - Digital and Analog is the ushering in a new age of digital communications, offering crystal clear audio quality favoured by racers. The RDH Digital 5-Watt Handheld Radio has a reach of 1-3 miles depending on terrain, 16 channel capacity and an accessory port compatible with Rugged Radios' current accessory line. This handheld radio, powered by a lithium ion battery, is extremely power efficient and offers 40% more battery life than analog radios. It includes automatic error correction that not only cancels out loud engine background noise but can also rebuild voice data. This radio can convey both digital & analog signals. The Rugged RDH16 works with all radios on the same frequencies including RDM-DB, RDH-X, R1, V3, RH5R, Icom, Motorola, and Kenwood radios operating on the same band (UHF/VHF). Included are dual band antenna, belt clip, rechargeable battery, charging cradle, and AC adapter. A business license required. It is FCC and CE certified.
